Ferris sits just over the line in Ellis County, small enough that its residential streets are still mostly quiet and its lots run larger than what you’d find closer to Dallas. A number of the homes we move here have a barn, a workshop, or a few acres attached, and our crews plan the truck route and loading time around that instead of treating it like a standard subdivision job. Priscilla Nguyen handles a lot of the Ferris scheduling and knows the roads well enough to steer a truck around the low spots that flood after a hard rain. It’s a smaller share of our overall volume than the bigger Dallas County suburbs, but we’ve been making the drive out here since not long after Garrett opened in 2015.
What a Ferris Move Runs
A two-mover crew starts at $119/hr, or Dominic sizes a flat band by bedroom count once he’s seen the job, starting near $429
The pricing doesn’t shift whether the address sits in Ferris, a starter home a few blocks off the highway, or a two-story set back on a bigger lot — standard released-value coverage rides along in every figure GQS Movers quotes, and nothing gets tacked on once the crew’s finished loading.
