What to Have Ready
- Moving date, or the range of dates you’re working with
- Current address and destination address (city is enough if you don’t have the exact new address yet)
- Rough size of the place — bedrooms, or square footage for an office
- Any items that need special handling: a piano, a gun safe, a slab pool table
- Whether you want packing included or you’re handling boxes yourself
The more of that we have up front, the closer the first number is to the final number — and at GQS Movers, those are supposed to be the same number. We quote it once, quote it straight, and we don’t renegotiate on move day. If something changes on your end before the move, just call the office and we’ll adjust the quote honestly, in writing, before the truck shows up.
